This one was on the wishlist. Every year we go twice for skiïng holiday to Kaprun. This year i went up Grosse Schmiedinger with my good friend Karl. The view was good but moisture in the prevented an amazing view. Clouds were already coming in.

Danke Uta, dass du mich an DIESEM "Geheimtip" teilhaben läßt! :-) Es ist doch wirklich schön, wenn es Mitte März 30 cm neuen Powder gibt - nicht wahr ?!

Dear Sjoerd

The view is very beautiful and as Uta did point out, you have been at a very special place. I have some suggestions for you to improve the picture: To get rid of the periodical lense flares stemming from the SERIES of pictures you took, you can use the masking tool (e.g. in hugin). It works well, whenever you have overlapping frames. Second you should try to get your horizon leveled. You can use views from www.udeusche.de as a help. Third I would suggest to give the picture a bit more sharpness and contrast. I also would cut the sky by about 40% to give the beautiful scenery more space.

Dear Christoph,

Thank you for the tip, i use Hugin and even didn't know there was a masking feature. I tried to mask some of the flares and in one photo they are right in the middle, so i need to work on that.
I will try to fix some of errors you mentioned this week.
