Pic the Morgon is a well-known summit in the French Hautes-Alpes department. It dominates the entire lake of Serre-Ponçon and the city of Embrun that lies just a throw away. The way up to the summit starts from the ancient Boscodon Abbey, that surely worth a visit.

Wonderful view from this summit. I've also gone there, but at that old time, I didn't think about taking panoramics. Thank you for reminding me how beautiful was the sight from the Pic de Morgon
