Aufnahmestandort: Grande Piramide (2711 m)      Fotografiert von: Alvise Bonaldo
Gebiet: Dolomiten      Datum: 22.9.2013

Dear Alvise
If I got all the text right which you and Alberto exchanged at 24008 (I used three translator programs to extract as much as possible… [I think the next step will be to start learning your beautiful language ...)] you complained about being a bit ignored.

I agree, there was and still is a gap of information and text flow between the German language centered users of a.-p. and others - here especially Italian language centered users. Only a limited number of Alto Adige / Südtirol based photographers fortunately bridge this gap from time to time. In addition I clearly (as it would have been yesterday) recall the conflict you had with one colleague of Northern Germany - not a pleasant memory. Remember for example all the beautiful winter pictures by Gianluca Moroni – lot so f votes but complete silence in the comments (e.g. 17879).

It will be always hard to improve the communication over this language border; I will try it by using one of the European “linguae francae” – English. Regarding this particular picture which I like very much for its composition I add the following thoughts: Technical: For me the picture is blurred, it lakes sharpness. This may be for others a reason for not voting on it. Second: I had a hard time to localize the summit you are at; the name is very strange to me.

With kind regards / Tante saluti / Cordalimente / Herzlichst

Christoph

@ Christoph
I think this kind of controversies should not be present on A-P. So, if you let me I'll answer you by e-mail.
Ciao, Alvise
