Ja, es ist "mocheno", hoach + bonti. Ich weiss nicht, woraus "bonti" stammen mag. Vielleicht Wand - Wont - Bonti?? In Richtung Val dei Mocheni gibt es eine steile Nordwand (vgl. N.31387).
In Roncegno wird der Berg auch zu "Fabonti" oder "Puina". Puina meint ricotta=Topfen: der Berg ist auf dieser Seite ganz bequem, einer der besten Skitourenziele im Gebiet...
