Alpen-Panoramen, Panorama der Alpen

Spero che la discontinuità del cielo sia perdonabile.
Verdal e Cernera sono cime poco frequentate - almeno da bipedi; capre, pecore e camosci invece qui sono di casa. Dalla Val Fiorentina le cime appaiono - e sono - verticali e remote. Quando si era piccoli (giovani) la salita da sud (da L'Andria) alla Forcella Ciazza era una discreta impresa "alpinistica": quando ancora c'era neve dura a fine agosto, quando c'era da indovinare le tracce di passaggio degli animali su per le poco invitanti cenge e pale erbose, quando le uniche scarse informazioni sulla salita ce le fornivano i vecchi valligiani... quanta nostalgia, per tante cose.
Dal Giau la salita alle due cime è fonte di diversi piaceri: l'isolamento e la solitudine, alcune occasioni per "usare le mani", un panorama veramente rilevante. Speriamo che questi luoghi rimangano ancora, e per molto, riservati al pascolo e al riposo degli animali.

Verdal and Cernera are rather unfrequented peaks - at least by bipeds; on the other hand goats, sheep and chamois are at home here. From Val Fiorentina the peaks appear - and are - vertical and remote. When we were young the ascent to Forcella Ciazza from south (L'Andria) was a decent "mountaineering" undertaking: when there was still hard snow at the end of August, when it was necessary to guess the traces of the animals passing up the uninviting ledges and grassy shovels, when the only scarce information about the climb was provided by the old valley dwellers ... how much nostalgia, for many things.
From Passo Giau the climb to the two peaks is a source of various pleasures: isolation and solitude, some chances to "use your hands", a truly relevant panorama. I hope that these places will remain, and for a long time, reserved for grazing and resting for animals.
