Cima Trubbio, or simply "Trübi" for locals is the highest point of the Piana di Vigezzo ski resort.
It is a small resort, but slopes are rewarding and very well groomed.
And the sight from the summit is definitely not too bad...do you agree?

@Matthias: you're right the "u" with umlaut in Lombardian dialects is widely used. In this particular case Val Vigezzo is in Piedmont, but dialect is really similar to the one spoken in Lombardy and Tessin. Also houses looks more like to the ones of central Alps, instead of the ones of Piedmont. One reason could be' that historically these places are well connected to Milan (Simplon railway and road) and many people in Lombardy have an holiday house here.
Thanks to Swiss friends, Val Vigezzo, has also the only mountain railway in Italy: the Centovalli that links Domodossola to Locarno, crossing Vigezzo and Centovalli.
Tanti saluti d'Alfredo
