Alpen-Panoramen, Panorama der Alpen

The ascent, and the pictures come from my friend Massimo Guggiari, an expert mountaneer. I only merged them into a panorama: this sight deserved this.

Pizzo Coca is the highest peak of the Bergamasque Alps: with a clean sky such the one of this day, the sight from the top is simply endless.
His comments about this peak are almost poetic:

"The view from the top is spectacular, like the one offered by the highest Bergamasque. From the Apennine and Italian-French watershed, the view embraces in one glance the superb Monte Rosa massif, the whole Mischabel chain, the peaks of the Bernese Alps, the frozen top of the Urner Alps and Rheinwaldhorn, the mountains of the Mesolcina, the granite walls of the southern Masino, the dour Monte Disgrazia, the bright side of Valtellina, the Bernina, the daring Grison peaks, the lonely mountains groups of Livigno, with Paradisino, Cima Viola and Cima Piazzi, and just right of the prestigious Weisskugel, Ortles, Koenigspitze and Cevedale domes, the thirteen peaks that crown the Forni glacier. After an opening of Val Gardena Dolomites, well observable through the groove of the Val di Sole, the massive Presanella, the vast Adamello group, the severe head of Val Seriana and the Bergamasque Alps completed a visual, that like the achievements of Napoleon Bonaparte, could well be called extended "from the Alps to the Pyramids, the Manzanares to the Rhine."
