My first panorama here on alpen-panoramen. Technically not very perfect, but hopefully well describing the very special atmosphere up there...
Lonely summit of Girenspitz around noon in nice inversion weather. Not very famous but very spectacular and also quite challenging peak (at least for me - especially for descent, where I did not choose the ideal route and was quite frightened that I will end up in the same somersaults as stones released by me - but luckily I have survived :-) ). 12 pictures with Nikon D90 and Nikkor 18 - 105 mm Exposure: 1/200 - 1/1250 sec. (aperture priority) Aperture: f/11.0 Focal length: 18 mm ISO: 200 Processed with Hugin 2011.4.0 and Adobe Lightroom 4.1

It was one of the few days when fog reached the Prättigau otherwise it rests outside
and we can rejoice always a very clear view also in the valley!
I've labeled some important peaks and I hope you will return soon in our lovely Prättigau
and you'll add more of such beautiful panos here (;-)

- you may change exposure and eventually colour on the corresponding card of hugin manually
- with some patience it might be possible to create a regular sky and smoothen brightness between the different pictures
