A very beautiful light, and a nice view of our highest mountain.
The slope going down from la Saulire, seems to be very spectacular.
I must go to le 3Vallées next year.
Is it a tele shot?

Thanks for your additional descriptions around Grandes Jorasses! I took this picture at about 7:28 a.m.
At this hour all cable cars and lifts still were silent, I started at night about 4:30 a.m. on ski and arrived up there about 6:50 a.m. It was a wonderful clear cold morning.
I used a zoom at 100 mm. Yours Dietrich.

Danke für Eure Kommentare + Bewertungen. Ich bin allerdings mit der Schärfe nicht ganz zufrieden, da kriege ich leicht Probleme mit meinem Tele auf dem Stativ, wenn etwas Wind geht.

Schöne Morgenstimmung 
gerade mit den wärmeren Blautönen, die den Hintergrund kennzeichnen. Übrigens wird der Mont Blanc auch als "Monarch" bezeichnet, das weibliche Gegenstück, die "Königin" ist übrigens die Meije im Massiv des Écrins. LG Alexander
