Since the strong wind limited my hike in Nufenenpass surrounding to Chilchhorn, I spent the afternoon around Griessee.
In shooting this panorama, I must admit I was definitely lucky the wind moved for an instant the clouds to cover the horrible wind energy plant near Maendeli ;-)
But I deserved it, since I waited for it some 20 minutes in the strong and chilly wind!

Marco, nice to see the Bättelmatthorn in Your excellent panorama. Many years ago we stand on the summit of this mountain and had have a wonderfoul view over Griessee and the Griesgletscher.

in 1983 I was at the Griessee and the Griesgletscher ended directly in the lake. On the other side ther were small ice-mountains. That's glacial history. Beautiful fog movement. LG Alexander

Leider wird gerade der Griesgletscher in seinem erbarmungswürdigen Zustand gerade von einer Wolke verdeckt.
