Alpen-Panoramen - Panorama: Cima Tiziano

These are the mountains that Tiziano Vecellio is supposed to have seen in his youth.
Perhaps he never had the luck to observe them from a similar viewpoint, but who cares? Art and imagination can be wonderful substitutes of direct experience.
Very close to the right end one finds the powerful satellite of Sorapis, namely, Croda Marcora, on which today there was a landslide of huge proportions. Up to now, there are no news of people killed or injured.
The last pixels on the right, affected by an abundant Irfan-effect, belong to the Pala di Meduce, dominating Cima Tiziano by 60 metres, but a little more difficult to reach. This higher summit is responsible for the present view not being 360°.

I am sitting here in the darkness with some Mozart surrounding me being completely caught by the view you are presenting. I would never had dreamed, that there could be another climax after the moon lit picture you presented some hours ago. How wrong one can be ....

Christoph: this is curious, because the work at the image was also accompanied by Mozart - precisely, KV415. I wonder if this should be reported as a technical information, in place of exposure and aperture - who cares about these??

Not only the view, also the different sky colours are amazing! May be in this case it would have been better not to use IrfanView to sharpen the pano, also if the sharpness would have been a little bit worse.

phantastic view of the eastern Dolomites the contralight passage in the center is superb. With photoshop elements it would be easy to correct the right end of the pano. Best regards Alexander
