After three consecutive "sacred" subjects, namely, Santa Zita, Frate and Croce dell'Arolley (I put the adjective in quotes since the Frate is sacred only in the name), I go on in the same mood with this view from the hill of San Giuseppe, located short above the roofs of the old village of Vigo. Although the Pinè tableland is most known for its two lakes and for the ice-skating practised on them, or for the highly revered sanctuary of Montagnaga, it is notable also for its views on the mountains of Trentino - curiously enough, most of them lie on the opposite (W) side of the Adige valley.
