I have already shown many pictures from the top of the Pizzo di Levico, the most outstanding viewpoint on the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo, which you can capture in nice pictures crowned by the Dolomiti di Brenta in the background.
The Costalta, or Monte Mandriolo/Manderiolo is perhaps less striking, since it does neither have the exposure of the Pizzo, nor the height of the nearby trio Portule - Trentin - Cima Dodici.
However, I think that it is offers an outstanding view on the Valle di Sella, a spin-off of the Valsugana, divided from the latter by the minor, and minimally scenic, ridge of the Armentera, which I have in front also while writing these lines, since I live in Marter, which can be found labeled down in the valley.
As most of the panoramas from the Pizzo, the genesis of this one lies in a late afternoon walk after playing a funeral in the little village of Luserna, which lies hidden behind the wide meadows of Passo Vezzena.
