I wasn't on the Golfen or the Hochhorn anymore. Unfortunately I didn't have my touring skis with me and was on foot. The snow cover was, unlike expected, very compact and relatively firm where the track was prepared. But besides that one broke quite often through the powdery snow cover. In spite of the partly still mighty snow on the south side of the Alps, some fresh snow would be needed again.
