Fortsetzung der mit wenig alpinistischer Leistung gesammelten Aus- und Durchblicke auf die majestätischen Walliser 4000er - ich traue mich auch, die Piste mit ins Bild zu nehmen. Eine besonders schöne Abfahrt führt auf der Nordseite des von einer Großgondel erschlossenen Unterrrothorns hinab. Seitdem eine Lawine im Januar 2019 die Talstation des Kumme-Sessellifts pulverisiert hat, sind hier keine Wiederholungsfahrten mehr möglich, und man freut sich über perfekten Schnee und wenige Skifahrer (nichts maskiert!) auf der (nicht künstlich beschneibaren) langen Abfahrt durch die Tufternkumme. Schon nächstes Jahr wird es anders aussehen, wenn die projektierte 10er Gondel hier durchs Bild führen wird.

Continuation of the views of the majestic Valais 4000m peaks collected with little alpine effort - I dare to take the piste into the picture as well. A particularly beautiful descent leads down on the north side of the Unterrrothorn, which is accessed by a large gondola. Since an avalanche pulverized the bottom station of the Kumme chairlift in January 2019, no repeat runs are possible here, and one is happy about perfect snow and few skiers (nothing masked!) on the (not artificially snowed) long run through the Tufternkumme. Already next year it will look different, when the projected 10-person gondola will cut through the view presented here.
