Yes, this is a memorial for both wars.
Moreover, for me it is tightly bound to the strange story narrated in

Curiously enough, I had never visited the site since then.
Actually, the majority of the people cross the Pordoi without vising this site, just wondering, when they reach the last 1-2 kilometers on the Arabba side: What is that strange monument up there?
