Nonostante la scarsità di neve i piani sopra la Neuer Teistner Alm sono ancora piacevolmente sciabili. Come accade per ogni punto panoramico a nord della Pusteria, anche da questo la vista a sud è fortemente penalizzata dalla luce a picco che priva di profondità la vista verso le Dolomiti. Meglio allora orientarsi a nord ovest, verso le Vedrette di Ries - Rieserferner, che offrono sempre un grande spettacolo.

Despite the lack of snow, the slopes above the Neuer Teistner Alm are still pleasantly skiable. As with any panoramic point north of Pustertal, the view to the south is also heavily penalized by the sheer light which deprives the view of the Dolomites from depth. Better then to look northwest, towards the Vedrette di Ries - Rieserferner, which always offer a great show.
