Again a work coming from old folders containing sleeping material.
This is a very unknown lake. Not to say how rarely it is visited, due to the length of the access.
I found it in these memorable conditions during a memorable day in which I skied the four sides of Cima d'Asta, in the CCW sequence E, N, W, S.

The names (most of which are virtually unknown nowadays) are set following the
«Carta per un definitivo assetto toponomastico del massiccio di Cima d'Asta»,
researched and hand-drawn by Franzi Vitlacil, 1997, and reproduced in the book «Cima d'Asta», Sezione CAI-SAT di Tesino, 1998.

Però sí, anche non lontano da casa si scovano tanti posti stupendi, ma non sufficientemente "prestigiosi", dove alla gente come si suol dire "pesa il culo" ad andare!!
I cosiddetti "reversi" (in dialetto, i "rovesci", ossia il lato nord) di Cima d'Asta hanno incredibili potenzialità scialpinistiche, tutte poco praticate a causa dell'impegno e della difficoltà d'accesso. In un vecchio numero (potrebbe essere, azzardo, degli anni 80-90!) de «Le Alpi Venete» c'era un articolo meraviglioso di Toni Marchesini in proposito. Il migliore che io abbia mai visto su una rivista del CAI.
