When I shot this I hadn't ever made a pano; but with a newly bought digital camera, and a visit to Austria, I of course had to try. I made some series during the week, and started making panos back home.
This one was made during an afternoon trip with my family in the Orgenkessel. Unfortunately rainclouds and thunder build up, so I couldn't make any more panos from higher elevations. The trip was still great; it ended by a little cave (Birnbachloch) where a pond fed the small Birnbach. Very calm and romantic place, with Wasseramseln flying around.
The pano has been waiting for a long time, and isn't that fantastic, but in the spirit of Hans-Jürgen Bayer ("Alles muss raus!") here it is. Made from 8 pics ( neutral, JPG) in 2 rows, lens 28mm-80mm (53mm), iso-200, f/11, 1/200 sec, stitched in PTgui pro (mercator), re-scaled and sharpened in IrfanView.
